Finally! Some down time. I don’t know about you but sometimes I feel like I am running just as fast as I can. It’s easy to get caught up in the whirlwind of life. All the things that need to get done and all of the things I really want to do. I have been busy redecorating and a little remolding of our living room. I now have glorious color and an entire wall of shelving and entertainment organization, including my favorite: the computer armoire.
Today was an incredibly beautiful spring day in Northern California. The kind we’re famous for. Cloudless skies and beaming sunshine. I downloaded some podcasts on my MP3 player, grabbed my crochet went outside! I sat next to my roses and in the sun. While successfully ignoring the weeds that called my name, I crocheted and enjoyed the humor, philosophies and trials and tribulations of other crocheters and knitters. WOW. I needed that.
Below are some pics of my latest project. Stitch Diva’s Hobo Bullseye Bag.
They used Berroco Twist and Suede. I used Suede and Touché and as you can see, chose different colors. I will line it, add buttons in the middle of squares and place stars along the gusset, if I can find them. I am blocking the front and back then I will put it all together.

I do have an FO to share. Here is a beanie style hat with a shell edging. I crocheted it with alpaca in DK weight. I love the colors. This was in FC EasyKnitting Fall of 2004. I have enough yarn to do a matching scarf.
