I appreciate your comments on Hemp in the US. I love the unusual texture and the fabric it creates in both crochet and knit. As I am sure you know, my "hemp" comment was based on the slang use of hemp. That slang term does result in a lot of misunderstanding so, thanks again for the comment/clarification.

Keep up your excellent pod cast!

love the top you are going to knit/crochet - it will be so cute! Alas I don't know how to crochet so I cannot go both ways - at least not in that context :)

I had to laugh at your hemp joke, but I am an advocate of legalizing hemp industry in the US, so I feel compelled to point out that hemp and marijuana come from different plants. If some brave soul attempted to use hemp in that manner, it would not have the same effect. (*end lecture*)

I think there is a serious bias against men in the knitting and crocheting hobbies. I never realized until Miss V and I started podcasting and began meeting more people in the fiber/knitting/crocheting community. Funny, we worked so hard for women to be accepted into career fields that are typically dominated by males but there are some out there who just can't seem to grasp the idea of a man being interested in a predominantly female hobby. Go fig! I love the idea of the "I Go Both Ways" KAL!
